Oslo meets Manchester in our acclaimed neighbourhood restaurant. Boasting a weekly changing menu from Chef and co-owner Danielle, OSMA is a true suburban gem in the heart of Prestwich village.

Named in the Michelin Guide within their first year, Sofie and Danielle have been wowing visitors in our suburban Prestwich spot since 2020.

Named in a nod to the home cities of the two founders, OSlo and MAnchester, OSMA takes cues from Scandinavian culture and cooking traditions. Everyone is a neighbour at OSMA, with locals and visitors from all over the world always welcome.

OSMA is all about serving up taste experiences with a relaxed edge that showcase local produce. A weekly changing menu promotes sustainability, and ensures only the most seasonal ingredients make it to the kitchen.

Right off Peter St in the city centre, Exhibition curates the best of Manchester under one roof. OSMA takes up residence alongside Basque fire masters Baratxuri and Italian pasta kitchen Rigatoni’s, bringing three kitchens together on one menu for a unique dining experience. Local Danielle Heron honed her skills at the brilliant L’Enclume before heading to the three Michelin-starred Maaemo. It was in Oslo where her and co-founder Sofie met – and the rest is history.

Sofie wanted to create a place where people can enjoy, and set to work designing our hygge haven in Prestwich.

You’ll always find these two working away to make OSMA’s guests feel special. Wherever you’re travelling from, everyone is a neighbour to Dani and Fie – so next time you pop in, say Hallo!

February 2023 saw our very own Danielle invited to take part in the North West heats of BBC Two’s Great British Menu.

It was amazing to see OSMA represented on screen, and even better to have the whole neighbourhood cheering her on! Making it to the final, Dani received excellent comments from the judges and we’re all so proud.
